You need to open both of the doors around 135 degrees in order for the drawer to be fully opened. At 90 degrees you can open the drawer 6 1/2 inches. Fully opened is 10 1/2 inches, but keep in mind at fully exposed there is another 6 inches of the drawer that doesn't get exposed. If you don't pack it full it would be semi usable, but I can imagine there would be a few stray deli meats and cheeses that would slide back. If you had skinny arms you could sweep them forward. I hope that helps in your decision. Over all I am very happy with the fridge.
