QuestionWhat are the internal dimensions? I currently have a fridge with almost exactly the same footprint and it is listed as either a 28.5 or 29 cu ft. I'm trying to figure out where this is 2-3 cu ft short to decide if this model will work for me or not.

- Answer The ice maker in the left hand door takes away some space. There are shelves there but they are not deep.

QuestionCan the French doors, and bottom drawer be removed to access the kitchen. The entryway to the kitchen is only 30 inches wide. Right now I have a GE 27 cu. ft side-by-side refrigerator in the kitchen.

QuestionIf our overhead cabinet is shallow (12 inches) is it okay for the top of the frig to be very close (1/8 inch) to the cabinet? There will be plenty of space at the sides.

QuestionI have an RO (reverse Osmosis) system supplying water to my refrigerator. Does this model have a bulit in bypass so it will still work if I remove the filter, or do I have to buy a bypass plug?

- Answer I tested this on mine and it dispenses water without a filter installed so I'll assume yes. I didn't test this, but if you use the LG ThinQ app, it may complain about a missing filter. Personally, I really like this fridge. Understand, though, that the water and ice is going to taste like plastic for the first couple of days at a minimum, with or without the filter, and with both icemakers.

QuestionWhat's the expected range of temperatures inside? I have this fridge. It's always between 39 and 42F, with the temperature control set to 33. I've measured with a calibrated lab thermometer immersed in liquid, as well as air thermometers. Is this normal?

- Answer Venette, I'm sure you meant to say 37 degrees Fahrenheit. 37C is very warm! Anyway, my fridge does not cool below 39F, even when I set it lower. I think my fridge is defective. Looks like I'll be returning it!

- Answer Hi Roe, I have this fridge. The vegetable/fruit drawers have an INSIDE height of 6.5 inches. I measured from the inside bottom of a drawer to the bottom of the shelf above it. I hope this helps.

QuestionDo you have this item without the wifi?

- Answer Cahark, I have this fridge. I'm pretty sure that WiFi is built in to all LG fridges above a certain price point. But you don't have to use it. You can simply leave WiFi off. If you're concerned about privacy, keep in mind that the WiFi feature requires entering your router's password on the LG app. So I believe there's minimal privacy risk if you don't enable WiFi. If you're concerned about price, the WiFi feature probably adds about $10 to the cost of the fridge. It wouldn't make sense for LG, or a retailer, to stock WiFi and non-WiFi variants of each fridge.
