- Answer Make sure that its on first, then make sure that the setting is for 3 or 6. Once its full it will stop making ice

QuestionI just bought this refrigerator a week back and while peeling the stickers off of the trays from the lower most compartment from the freezer the plastic tray was so brittle due to the freezer temperature and it just broke into pieces needed help attached

- Answer LG has a website where you can purchase anything you need for your refrigerator. Check first under the warranty to see if they will send one for you but if not, definitely go to the website. Next time take off all the plastic the day its delivered. I waited to do what you did as well and because i had read about someone breaking theirs, i took my time and delicately removed the tape from all the drawers and glass

- Answer Mine is at 0 dgrs, the temp it was at when it was installed. It needs several hours to make the first round of ice, which you throw away, and then it will make it continuously after that.

Regrettably, LG does not make any Side-by-Side refrigerators that have a depth that does not exceed 26" and we do not have any French 3-Door Counter-Depth Refrigerators or French 4-Door Counter-Depth Refrigerators that have a depth that does not exceed 26". LG does not do custom orders...^Ivan

- Answer Hi Dana, making craft ice is an important feature of this fridge! We certainly understand how it not working can bring a hurdle to your lifestyle! No worries, the first thing you would check on is the power switch on the icemaker. You would make sure it's on the 'ON' Position. If it's off, turn it on and wait 18-30 hours for the first batch of ice to be produced. (It may take from 24 to 48 hours to see the first batch of craft ice.) If the the icemaker is turned on, but is not producing ice, reset the icemaker- turn the power switch on the icemaker 'OFF', then back 'ON'. If the icemaker is still not producing ice, feel free to reach out to us via Facebook (@LGUSA) or Twitter (@LGUSSupport) for assistance. - Answer No, only if you knock on the door does the light turn on for a few seconds. Then I wouldn’t buy this model. So far we are very happy with it!
