Hello there! Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We understand that you're having trouble connecting your LG 4-Door French Door Smart Refrigerator (LMXS28626S) to the LG ThinQ app, and the Wi-Fi button on the door isn't blinking as expected. Your feedback is important, and we'd like to assist you further. It's understandable that you've successfully connected other devices and are looking for similar ease with your refrigerator. When the Wi-Fi button doesn't blink, it can indicate a few things, from a temporary communication glitch to a need for a deeper reset. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try: Power Cycle the Refrigerator: Sometimes, a simple power cycle can resolve temporary communication issues. Unplug the refrigerator from the wall outlet. Wait for at least 30-60 seconds. Plug the refrigerator back in. Once it's powered back on, try holding the Wi-Fi button for 3 seconds again to see if it starts blinking. Check Your Wi-Fi Network: Ensure your home Wi-Fi network is stable and working correctly. Confirm that your smartphone, with the ThinQ app, is connected to the same 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network that the refrigerator will connect to. While some ThinQ features can work on 5 GHz, the initial connection process often requires the 2.4 GHz band. Try rebooting your wireless router. Unplug it for about 30 seconds, then plug it back in and wait for it to fully restart before trying to connect the refrigerator again. Troubleshoot the ThinQ App on Your Phone: Completely close the ThinQ app on your smartphone (swipe it away from recent apps). If possible, clear the app's cache or data (this varies by phone operating system - Android settings might allow this, while iPhone users might need to offload/reinstall the app). Reopen the ThinQ app and try the connection process again. Ensure your ThinQ app is updated to the latest version from your app store. Try a Different Location for Your Phone: When connecting, try to have your phone as close as possible to the refrigerator.
