“i noticed one of your answers stated the monitor supports 144hz at 1440p over hdmi through free sync. I just ordered this monitor and the description is saying Gsync, so which is it? I have and Nvidia card I hope I didn’t just buy an amd monitor.”

• It is a Gsync approved monitor. It uses AMD freesync that has been verified to work properly by Nvidia. You will be able to enable gsync via Nvidia Control Panel.

• You should NOT be using this monitor over HDMI. It has HDMI 2.0 ports which only support 60hz at 4k. You have to use DisplayPort 1.4 to get above 60hz @ 4k. Which means you need a 20 series Nvidia card and newer, basically 20 and 30 series.
