The only thing we will miss not having HDMI 2.1 will be 4k 120fps. Several games coming for XsX and PS5 have said they will have 120fps modes which to me implies 1080p or 1440p @ 120fps and this monitor will handle this. Do I wish it was full HDMI 2.1? Yes I do and maybe the refresh will have that. But I still can't wait for this monitor to become available to replace my current 1440p monitor plus getting an eventual 3080ti in my PC with the PS5.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, it does not. DisplayNinja.com reviewed the monitor recently and noted that it had 2 HDMI 2.0 inputs -- https://www.displayninja.com/lg-27gn950-review/
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No it does not. The Ps5 and Xbox will support 4k@120hz but there are only a few games right now that support that for both consoles, as time passes on there will be more games that support 4k@120hz for consoles you just have to wait for that list to grow for now you are better off sticking with a 4k@60hz monitor and just wait because 4k@120hz monitors will be cheaper as the months come just be patient about it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I wouldn't worry about the 2.1. PS5\Xbox claim to be able to do 120 at 4k, but that will likely be on display screens OR highly reduced graphics only. I would assume you are going to see more of a locked 60 @ 4K with most titles.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, it only has HDMI 2.0 .
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This monitor offers a maximum resolution 3840 x 2160 @ 60Hz (HDMI) or 3840 x 2160 @ 160Hz (DisplayPort Overclock: On). This monitor does not have HDMI 2.1 and will not support 4K@120Hz. ^Daphane
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You don’t really have to worry about that, the XboxX and PS5 can support 4K@120hz but most games will be 4K@60hz the only game that i know of right now that will support 4k@120hz is Cold War. Not many games out there will be 4k@120hz for consoles.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Doesn't it also say it has two HDMI HDCP 2.2 inputs also? I'm pretty sure 2.2 is greater than 2.1.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This monitor is great for 3000 RTX users. With the Display Port, you will be able to run 4k at 144hz (up to). If you plan to use this monitor also for consoles (PS5/Xbox X), then you will be locked at 4k 60Hz, unless they come out with an adapter. Given that the consoles are weak and cheap, most games will be locked at 60 Hz anyway, so you have nothing to worry about.
