I have been using this with my new mini. I opted however to purchase an active TB3-DP cable. ZERO issues and excellent results. FYI - Active TB3-DP cables are available at many locations.

However, the LG 27" Class 4K UHD IPS LED Monitor with HDR 10 (27" Diagonal), Model # 27UK600-W has a native resolution of 3840 x 2160 @ 60Hz and it features 2 x HDMI ports (ver 2.0) and a DisplayPort (ver 1.2). Both the HDMI ports and the DisplayPort are HDCP 2.2 compliant and both support HDR. There is not such thing as an HDMI 2.0 cable, the version refres to the ports so any High Speed HDMI cable can be used to connect to a device that has and HDMI Out and as long as the HDMI Out that device is HDCP 2.2 compliant it will allow video 4K content to pass through to the monitor. If the Graphics card in the iMac Mini can support the monitor's native resolution and it has HDMI ports that are HDCP 2.2 compliant, then there shouldn't be any issues connecting these devices using the supplied HDMI cable. If the Imac mini also has a USB-C port, there are adapters available that will allow you to connect from the USB-C port to the HDMI or DisplayPort inputs on the monitor. ^CP
