Plastic Tubing. Currently my refrigerator uses plastic tubing to supply water to the unit. Is the plastic tubing OK for this LG refrigerator>

Plastic tubing is fine for this fridge but I went ahead and replaced the tubing with a flexible stainless steel version which I purchased for less than $20. Since the fridge was new I wanted to replace the old line.

Yes, you can use plastic tubing but in the long run I prefer copper lines. My old plastic line had mildew and started to leak. Just a personal preference but just make sure the tap to the main water line is good.
