A:Answer The LG - 28" Class - LED - 720p - HDTV, Model # 28LM400B-PU has three built-in tuners, an ATSC tuner, an NTSC tuner, and a QAM tuner. The QAM tuner (quadrature amplitude modulation) is the format by which digital cable channels are encoded and transmitted via cable television providers. There is an F-Type, 75 Ohm, Coaxial connector in the back of the TV labeled "Antenna/Cable In" that you can connect the coaxial cable feed from your cable service provider then you will need to go into the TV's settings menu to set up the channels automatically. The TV will automatically memorize the channels that are currently being broadcast. The channels will not be memorized properly if the cable is not installed correctly. You can also set up the channels manually. ^CP
