The black stainless steel finish is designed to resist smudges and fingerprints, and it typically has a smoother surface that does not allow magnets to adhere to it. QuestionFor many years my husband has found ways to make craft ice balls and get them clear. I have to know-do the ice balls from this freezer come out clear? Can anyone share a photo of these craft ice balls outside liquid AND in liquid so we can see?

- Answer This is what the ice looks like. A little white on the bottom of the balls. The only filter I have is the one that is in the refrigerator. The water line is hooked to my public water supply without any auxiliary filters. This refrigerator makes the clearest ice cubes that any refrigerator or ice machine that I have had in the past

QuestionWill this fit through a 35” doorframe with the handles removed? I see conflicting info…. The specs on BBY’s website say it’s 35 3/4” wide with handles removed, but an LG employee said that it’s 31” (A lady named Daphne).

- Answer I had to remove the doors to fit through my standard front doorway. Wasn’t difficult just Kind of a pain in the butt. (Also remove the drawers of course).

- Answer You need a good 24 hours before it makes ice. The refrigerator has to get to temp and that means until your freezer is at temp you won’t start making ice.

QuestionIs the black fingerprint resistant?

- Answer For the most part sort of I only really see fingerprints when I’m looking for them like if I walk past I don’t really see them but when I’m looking for them to like wipe the doors down or to get some dust off that’s when I usually see them so it’s not like they stand out I mean unless you have a kid that has like vanilla ice cream and they’re touching the doors then obviously but normal every day fingerprints are very hard very hard to see

- Answer Too small of a distance from adjacent items may result in lowered freezing capability and increased electricity consumption charges. Allow at least 24 inches (610 mm) in front of the refrigerator to open the doors, and at least 2 inches (50.8 mm) between the back of the refrigerator and the wall. ^Daphane

- Answer Yes, the shelves are constructed of Spill Protector™ Tempered Glass. There is not a shelf specifically to store butter in the Door-in-Door compartment. The case is adjustable. ^Daphane
