We had issues as well when we first received it, took several days just to get a couple batches. I read on LG's website where it says to turn the freezer down to -4 degrees, the factory setting is 0 degrees. Once we turned it down to -4 we have had plenty of ice for a family of 4 adults ever since.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. We had ours delivered last week and the ice maker still isn't working properly. It was an open box item. We turned on the switch inside. We also tried pressing the test button which works, water will fill the ice tray, and it'll tilt correctly, but it never goes beyond that. The ice tray never flips and releases the ice. Still troubleshooting...
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I haven’t, but just FYI it has an on/off button inside.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. We haven’t. The ice maker is a bit smaller on this style, but we haven’t had any problems with it. We had a previous LG fridge before this one and never had issues with it either.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You would definitely want to make sure all the plastic is removed from the inside of the ice maker and it is snapped in place properly. Insert it at an angle and male sure not to hit the sensor. These instructions should be taped to the inside of the fridge.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have only had this fridge for a month, so far so good. I love this one even though the ice maker is small.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Mine is only 3 weeks old, but NO problems yet! Took overnight for it to have ice, not unusual for first time use in a refrigerator. My 2 previous refrigerators both had door ice makers and I never had problems, other than the last one being small.
