QuestionFor delivery of this refrigerator, how wide must the doorway opening be? My front door is 36" but the screen door at the entrance way is only 35".

- Answer Not an issue. When they deliver, all the front doors (Fridge and Freezer) are off. They assemble once inside. I was nervous about that, but they did a fantastic job!

QuestionI want to put it next to a wall. I know it needs more than 36" for the door to open correctly. I want to know how much more do I need? Thank you!

- Answer The fridge is almost 40" deep, the freezer when opened adds another 23", plus you have an inch or two behind the fridge for air circulation. Figure a minimum of 65" to open the largest compartment. The freezer drawer is further out from the fridge than the fridge doors when they are open.

QuestionBeen running for 24 hours. Set to 33 and the back of the fridge is about that, but the windowed bin in the front is 55 degrees! My milk is going to spoil. Anyone have any ideas on why this would be or how to fix it?

- Answer Exchanged for a new one. New one was much faster to cool down and sustains it's temps better. Saw the front door bin get up to 45 late one night when no one was using the fridge, but it's possible left overs from dinner warmed up the fridge at that point before it cooled down again because by morning it was 38 and today it's between 33 and 35 which is perfect. Hoping it'll stay like this.

QuestionHas any one had any problem with the ice maker not making any ice. seeing that the ice maker is on the door.

- Answer We had issues as well when we first received it, took several days just to get a couple batches. I read on LG's website where it says to turn the freezer down to -4 degrees, the factory setting is 0 degrees. Once we turned it down to -4 we have had plenty of ice for a family of 4 adults ever since.

QuestionWhy is the smaller Cu.Ft fridge ie 22-26 Cu.Ft with similar features are more expensive than the bigger 29.7 Cu. Ft. fridge?

- Answer It's for looks. The smaller Cubic foot refrigerators are considered "counter depth", meaning it matches the depth of most cut-outs and counters. They look really pretty, but sacrifice a noticeable amount of storage.

- Answer 35 1/2 deep not counting the handles. 70 1/4 inches tall after being leveled. 36 inches wide. I was worried it would not fit in the new house, but it did. It sticks out 6 inches not counting the handles. It does not look bad and it is the nicest refrigerator we have ever owned.

QuestionIn reference to the previous question, I bought one that's a floor sample already assembled. In order to make it fit thru the kitchen opening, upper and lower doors need to be removed. Would that be considered during the delivery time with Best Buy?

QuestionWill the top shelf in the freezer hold a 1/2 gallon of ice cream or is it too small?

- Answer I just put a 1/2 gallon of Breyers ice cream into the top pull-out drawer of the bottom freezer and yes that fit. Then I put it in the middle drawer where they suggest putting meats and chilled wine because I wasn't sure if that was where you were asking. Either way, both drawers fit 1/2 gallon of Breyers ice cream :)
