“Can this be used to play a slideshow of pictures from a USB thumbdrive?”

• It only has a HDMI port, I use it as a second screen for my Mac Laptop.

• The LG 29'' Class 21:9 UltraWide FHD IPS Monitor with HDR10 (29'' Diagonal), Model # 29WL500-B does not have a USB port on it. You will need to plug the USB thumb drive into the PC/Laptop that you have connected to the monitor and double-click any single picture to open it, then use the Start Slide Show button within the Windows Photo Viewer to begin your full-screen slide show...^IFV
