• It does not show there is an option for HDMI connection on the subwoofer. Please visit the support page to access the owner's manual at https://www.lg.com/us/support/product/lg-SN6Y.DUSALLK. • The subwoofer is connected through bluetooth. I am using the optic cable that was included to connect the bar to my tv. The subwoofer plugs in to a wall outlet and connects to the bar wirelessly. So no, you do not need HDMI or Wifi for the subwoofer.
