We had a 50 amp breaker for the microwave and oven combo that we replaced with the LG microwave oven combo and the new only needed a 40 amp breaker. We did have to replace the 50 amp with a 40 amp so that we didn’t void our warranty.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you have just a standalone microwave, the two units would not be able to share an outlet or breaker. This model is combination microwave/wall oven. It would be connected to a double pole breaker and a 240V outlet.
