“LG spec sheet for this model says it requires a 50amp circuit and #8 wire to install. My electrician points out #8 wire on a 50amp circuit does not meet code b/c #8 wire is only rated up to 40amps. See NEC 210.19 A3 and 220.55. How then to safely install?”

We just purchased this oven and we had 240V-50AMP service with #6 wire installed which is our code requirement. This was recommended by our electrician and the oven is working great.
