QuestionIs it typical to use pieces of wood to hold unit in place when there is a gap between bottom of oven and cabinet, Just replaced an older unit, concerned that heat from bottom of oven could ignite the pieces of wood. Wood placed by installer, fire risk?

- Answer It would be impossible for wood to ignite Oven is wrapped in steel shell with insulation between steel shells We mount them in wood cabinets on every job I prefer to cut bottom flush on opening so stove sits flat on cabinet

Questionwhere can I purchase an additional bottom oven trim piece? I am looking to cover a small 2cm gap between the cabinetry and the bottom of the oven. I think placing an additional trim piece will help it blend in.

QuestionWe have an oven that is six years old that makes a very loud cooling fan noise the entire time it is on and for 60 minutes afterwards. The noise is so loud that you have to speak louder to be heard over it. Any experience with such a noise in this oven?

- Answer We also have this oven and just powered it up and started baking.. The fan that makes the noise is the cooling fan - the convection fan is not making the noise, at least on our unit.. it sounds as if the fan blade is not balanced. It's loud enough to be annoying

QuestionWe just got this oven and went to use it for the first time and the top seems to work OK but the bottom oven turns off in the middle of preheating no matter what setting it’s on and want to preheat past a certain temperature, was installed correctly. Help

- Answer Hi Gil. Check with your local building inspector or your local building codes & ordinances. The LG 30" Combination Double Electric Convection Wall Oven with Built-In Microwave - Stainless Steel, Model # LWC3063ST has to be hardwired. Wall ovens have to be hard wired (direct wired) into an approved junction box. A plug and receptacle is not permitted on these products...^IFV
