The LG 30" Built-In Smart Gas Cooktop with 5 Burners and EasyClean® - Stainless Steel, Model # CBGJ3027S, requires a 120 Volt, 60 Hertz, properly grounded dedicated circuit protected by a 15 A or 20 A circuit breaker or time-delay fuse. When installed, it must be electrically grounded in accordance with local codes or, in the absence of local codes, with the National Electrical Code, NFPA70. The cooktop is equipped with a with a three-prong (grounding) plug which must be plugged into a standard three-prong grounding wall receptacle, and you will need to have the wall receptacle and circuit checked by a qualified technician to be sure the receptacle is properly grounded...^Ivan.
