• You cannot use the LG 340 Sq. Ft. 8,200 BTU Window Air Conditioner - White, Model # LW8019ER "in-wall" instead of a window opening. It requires a standard single-hung or double-hung window for proper installation and unlike a through-the-wall air conditioner that does not have louvers in its sides and can be installed in a wall sleeve that gives it support in a wall, the louvers on the sides of the window air conditioner cannot be covered up or obstructed because not only woud that reduce its ability to cool, it could also cause the unit to burn itself out prematurely...^IFV
