The top of the stand is about 7" off the desktop but I'm not sure how that will help you. The stand raises the monitor so that the bottom is about 3-1/2" off the desk and the top is just short of 18" high.

I can tell you how tall the stand is, but that seems like an odd question. The stand is about 7 inches from the desktop to the place where it attaches to the monitor. Using the provided stand, the top of the monitor is about 19 inches from the desktop. And not that you asked, but the bottom of the monitor is about 4.5 inches off the desktop.

The stand itself from bottom to top is about 7". This raises the monitor so that the bottom is about 3-1/2" off the desktop and the top is just short of 18" from the desktop.
