I've used my analon pots, my corningware and my stainless steel pots on this cooktop. I've even used a Glass pyrex on it. No problems. Love it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It is not an induction cooktop. I have used several types of cookware with no problems whatsoever. I had two different Kitchen Aid Cooktops -- both of them cracked as soon as the Warranty period was up. The LG Cooktop has 1 more burner and performs at a scale of 20 on a 1-10 scale. I LOVE IT!!!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Cookware must fully contact the surface of the cooking element. Use flat-bottomed pans sized to fit the cooking element and amount of food being prepared. Check for flatness by rotating a ruler across the bottom of the cookware. Pots with aluminum or copper bases can cause metallic discoloring on the ceramic glass surface which is very difficult or impossible to remove. Be very careful when using cast iron pots or pots with damaged bases which are rough and or have burrs on them. ^CP
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I've found that all cookware must be very flat to fit on the stove. I had to throw out a pan that wobbled...and wasn't flat.
