QuestionAre the legs on the washer adjustable?-possibly a bit lower to change the height with lid open from what is specified at 55 3/8 inches? The reason I ask is that I have cabinets above and the height shown is the absolute max that will fit -might be tight

QuestionWhen I wash clothes, the water and clothes come out extremely warm. I've used the cold, tap cold, and even tried a hot/warm setting just to see if maybe the hoses were flipped, but I always get warm clothes. Will this machine ever use only cold water?

Ft. 8-Cycle High-Efficiency Top-Loading Washer - White, Model # WT1501CW is a High-Efficiency washer that uses much less water than older traditional Top Load Washers. High-efficiency washing machines will use a noticeably smaller amount of water than non high-efficiency units. We would not be able to compare to front loading machines in general as they will use different amounts of water. ^CP

- Answer Hi Geeh. The ENERGY STAR® Qualified LG 4.5 cu. ft. Ultra Large Capacity Top Load Washer with Front Control Design, Model # WT1501CW does not have a reset switch. Typically, when a top-load washer won't advance to the drain and spin portion of the cycle, suspect a broken lid switch because the timer won't advance to spin if it senses the washer lid is open. The lid switch is a safety feature found on most top loading washing machines. The lid switch supplies power to the timer and motor circuits. The timer is used to control all of the functions of the washer. The machine will require a repair service. - Answer Yes, it does. My old washer had this big pole in the middle that was taking a lot space. This washer is huge and does not have the middle pole and your comforter can definitely fit.

- Answer You can fill it to the guide up top (there is a grate built in so you can fill up to that point in the washer). If I had to guess, maybe say 20 of my husband's pants could be washed at once. It's huge inside.
