QuestionWhat’s the difference between the “cool” and “cold” temps?

- Answer A. No there is not much actual difference. The cycle moreover is basically for delicates, hand washables, small loads that use minimal amount of energy. The result is cold water savings with warm water performance.~ Tanisha

While the unit's dryer is vented, a closet installation requires sufficient airflow to the washer and dryer to operate correctly. The owner's manual for this unit specifies that "louvered doors with equivalent ventilation openings are also acceptable" for this type of installation. - Answer A. Yes, you can safely pause the machine during mid cycle. Press the "Start/Pause" button on your washing machine and wait a few minutes for the washer to safely drain away water in the drum before it unlocks the door. Once this is done, you'll be able to open the door and make any changes to the cycle. To resume the cycle, press the “Start/Pause” button again. ~Tanisha

QuestionWhat is the measurement from the top of the dryer door to the top of the machine? We have an odd bar in our laundry cabinet at 73" that could prevent opening the dryer door if it's too high on the machine.

QuestionMy unit has a steam hook up. I notice that the laundry washed in cold cycle comes out warm, not cold. Is the steam function on even in a cold wash cycle. Is it normal?

- Answer Steam is an option that you have to select. Steam is not a default when you select Normal wash. That said, a Normal wash defaults to WARM water unless you alter the water temperature setting under Cycle Modifiers.

- Answer The washer and dryer door hinges are on the left side of this unit when you are facing it. So the handle/opener is on your right and will open moving from right to left. It's my understanding that you cannot change this.

- Answer Gas dryers can be vented through the knockout panel on the left side of the unit as you are facing it. They cannot be vented out the right side, however. The electrical dryers have the options of being vented out the back, right, and left because there are no restrictions re: the gas connection. If space is a concern, they make a rigid flatter dryer vent that takes up less room. Not sure that is up to code but it does exist.
