• A:Answer Yes. To do so, power on the machine, press the spin speed button until No Spin is selected. And then start the cycle. This will activate the drain only function on your LG front load washer. Once the water has drained pause or stop the cycle and the door will unlock. ^James.

• A:Answer I have a LG washer in Europe and I’ll be happy to buy a LG one in America. I just asked for a spec on the device. Why the answer should be on a private message? The efficiency of a dryer depends more on the spinning speed of the washer than the specs of the dryer. The spinning speed of my European LG one with direct drive is 1400 rpm. I’m expecting no less.

• A:Answer I cannot explain to why there is a Prop 65 warning. The warning is not listed in the specifications. Generally, appliances that use natural gas, such as ranges, dryers and hot water heaters, may emit benzene, carbon monoxide or formaldehyde when in use. ^Daphane

• A:Answer The washer uses load sensing. Once the washer senses the weight of the load the appropriate amount of water is added and the wash time is estimated. Spin speed can be modified. Higher spin speeds extract more water from clothes, reducing drying time and saving energy. Some fabrics, such as delicates, require a slower spin speed. • A:Answer Yes, the compatible pedestal is WDPW. WDP4* replaced the WDP3* pedestal but they are both designed for compatibility with 27" LG Front Load Washers and Dryers.
