QuestionHow full should you fill the drum? Please don't tell me weight...just how full (drum 1/3, 1/2 or 3/4 full). My husband filled it to the very top with clothes and it didn't do well. Thank you.

- Answer You can combine large and small items in a load. Load large items first. Large items should not be more than half of the total load. The washer can be fully loaded, but the drum should not be tightly packed with items. The door of the washer must close easily. ^CP

- Answer Yes they can be stacked and there is an LG bracket kit that is sold. This assumes you have a matching LG dryer as the brackets are specific to LG. Washer will be on the bottom and dryer on top. Washer and dryer doors come hinged opposite directions. The dryer door can be switched from right hinged to left hinged but washer door swing is left hinged only. However, be aware the display panel is unreadable on both washer and dryer and until LG corrects this you will need to stand on a stool with a flashlight to read the custom dryer options. Also, interior dryer light only illuminates when dryer is powered up. Inconvenient.
