- Answer The LG 12,000 BTU Portable Air Conditioner, Model # LP1217GSR comes with an exhaust hose and a window installation kit as included accessories. IT has an Upper and Lower drain port and when you need dehumidification, you can insert a drain hose with an inner diameter of 16 mm (5/8") into the upper drain port and place the open end of the drain hose in a suitable drain location or outdoors and run the unit in DRY mode. Dry Mode will give you dehumidification without additional cooling...^IFV

The supplied flexible exhaust venting hose attaches to the 18" window vent panel. The window installation kit is designed for installation in most vertical-sliding windows 18" to 50" wide or casement-style windows 18" to 50" high...^IFV

- Answer The adjustable louvered air discharge opens automatically when the air conditioner is turned on, and closes when it is turned off. It can also be set to oscillate to distribute air more evenly through the room. ^CP

QuestionBrand new LG air conditioner installed May 2021, now end if July it is spitting water and not cooling well. Manually to drain it, but very little water Is coming out and compressor is not cooling...just spitting out water and medium temp air!

QuestionHow do I set the timer to turn on?

- Answer The timer function can be activated from the remote only. The timer button can be used to turn on the unit automatically at the time you set. Use the up and down buttons to adjust the delay time from 0 to 24 hours in one hour increments or decrements. When your desired time is displayed on the LCD, press the Timer button to confirm it. Press the Timer button again and a beep can be heard and the indicator disappears signifying the Timer mode has been cancelled. ^CP

- Answer Don’t know what model air duct system it has. The venting unit has several plastic sections that will fit the bottom opening of any size window. It also has about a six inch diameter ducting that extends about 6-8 feet. The ends of the ducting fit into plastic end caps that slide into both the a/c unit and window block. I do like the unit, but it doesn’t throw as much cold air as an older LG unit we have that is actually less BTUs.
