Do I have to vent the unit in dehumidification mode null

All Portable, Window and Through-the-Wall Air Conditioners need to be vented. Since the compressor and condenser for the air conditioner is in the main unit that will be in the room that you have the unit installed in, the warm, moisture laden air that you are extracting from the room that you are cooling has to be vented to the outside through the exhaust vent hose that attaches to the window vent panel that you need to install in your window. ^CP
