“Is it normal to have to drain the water tank daily? I had an older version of this when I was in Florida and don’t remember ever having to empty it, now I’m in the PNW and this one is full daily”

• This unit has a self-evaporative system which recycles some of the condensate to cool the condenser. Most of the condensate that forms from when the hot air is being cooled as it is passed over the evaporator coils will drip into the internal water collection tank in the unit that will have to be emptied when it gets full. How often the unit requires emptying depends on the humidity where you live. ^CP
