A:AnswerThe answer given is incorrect i have this exact model and it is not equipped with HDR it does have a deep color mode which in my opinion is just as sharp. Reason being is the hdmi ports only support 2.0 if they were 2.2 and 2.2a then the tv would be so the newer models out now are but definitely not this one.
A:AnswerHDMI is used to connect other devices to the TV. My coax feeds an Xfinity cable box with DVR, which connects to the TV with HDMI. My home theater also connects using HDMI to play DVDs. If you have no cable box, it should be fine to connect coax directly to this TV.
