“Does it ship with protective plastic over screen? My picture often appears as if it's a great picture that I'm watching through a screen door or dirty window. It appears to be "casting" its image onto a screen just in front of it. Very unusual and makes it the single most displeasing TV I've ever owned. There isn't any obvious screen covering I can find and remove, but I'm not always the sharpest tool in the shed.”

No screen covering that I ever saw. Just a plastic scratch protector film around the outside frame of the TV. It peeled off easily.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It appears that way because the screen is side lit instead of back lit. It's light bleed and common with the LG product. We have an LG 65" 3D smart tv that was in our bedroom my husband brought an OLE to replace it and we put the LG in our guest bedroom because the light bleed was so bad. It makes the sides look washed out.
