- Answer Hey Chuck idk if this will help you but I just purchased the lg nano television. My prior tv was a vizio. When I was talking to the cable company about utilizing the spectrum tv app I was told that vizio does not have the capability of utilizing the spectrum app. So what I had done was purchased a roku stick that also comes in uhd 4k at a very low cost. That was the way I got to watch the spectrum app. I dont know if lg gives access to the app to download being I really havent got all into the tv as of yet. But if your unable to use the spectrum app you can always grab an inexpensive roku stick to use the spectrum app. I know I wasnt much help but I thought I'd atleast give you an easy solution that I found.... good luck and have a happy new year

- Answer The only cable that comes with the 49SM8600PUA is the power cable. Any HDMI cable, Optical cable, USB cable etc would need to be purchased separately. ^CP

QuestionDoes this TV have Apple AirPlay? And if it does how do I enable it with HomeKit? The Home Dashboard doesn't seem to have an option for Apple AirPlay.

- Answer Yes, it supports both AirPlay and Home Kit. Mine needed a firmware upgrade. Once the ne firmware was installed both Airplane and HomeKit options appeared. note: If you plan to set up HomeKit, do it BEFORE you set up the TV to work with your Cable Box (I.e. enter your cable provider in the TV set up). For some reason, HomeKit will not connect to your instance if the TV is paired with the cable box.
