- Answer This unit has a regional code printed on the rear of the unit. This unit can play only BD-ROM or DVD discs labelled same as the rear of the unit or “ALL”. ^CP

QuestionOn this device (USBK80) how do you safely "eject" your data stick after using. I see nowhere for "eject" on screen.

- Answer I saw something in the Owners Manual about that but you know I just push stop and pull out the stick. You player is just reading the flash drive not uploading Data.

QuestionI connected my LG Player to my Onkyo 820. I get the sound but not the video? I used the connection that I am using for my roku that gives me both audio and video, but only audio with the LG player? How best to troubleshoot?

- Answer I did this too and I am still kicking myself for not thinking of it. I had to buy a new Sony Receiver that could handle 4K. So ask your self this question to answer your first question. Is my Onkyo a 4K capable Receiver??? What is the full model number of your Receiver? I looked that number up and the write up for one called the TX-RZ820 says it is 4K but I really do not know if that is what you have. Onkyo has been making Receivers for decades and reuse numbers all the time with newer prefixes. What ever the model is assuming it is a 4K capable Receiver, check that you are plugged in to the appropriate HDMI spot. Make sure that that input is set to automatically sense what is being fed to it. Make sure you have the ARC HDMI on your Receiver plugged into the ARC HDMI of your TV... Maybe check the Receiver's menu and make sure all the HDMI internal settings are set appropriately. You also might Google the same question and see if others are experiencing the same issue. My first thoughts are ...it is something to do with the Receiver, but you could have a bad player. What happened to me was that I bought a new 4K TV & 4K Blu-player and neglected to figure whether I could send 4K through my Receiver. When you get it working you will see that the LG UBK80 is quite possibly the best Optical Disc Player you have ever owned.

- Answer It is not a smart player. Does not have apps or wi-fi. Does have Ethernet port on the back for BD Live content & firmware updates. Get a Firestick or Ruku for your TV. They have more functionality than apps on a Blu-ray player. You will have far more options. Save a $100 and buy the LG UBK 80 instead of the LG UBK 90. Buy lots of 4K media to play on it and put your favorite music on a flash drive and enjoy it's multi media player capabilities. It will be the best Optical Disc player you will ever own and then some.

- Answer The LG 4K Ultra-HD Blu-ray Disc™ Player with Dolby Vision®, Model # UBK90 is not a region free player, however, the good news is that for some reason, manufacturers have decided not to code 4K Ultra HD discs by region so if you have a 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray movie title, you can play it in this unit regardless of what country the disc came from. That is only true for 4K Ultra HD discs and the player will only play legacy Blu-ray discs from region A since those discs have regional coding...^IFV

- Answer Hilarious, If you go to the link it will show the Hulu app in the content store. If you click on that and then click check device compatibility it says you have to create an account. Okay then I go thru the long procedure to create an account and log in. Now it says you have to register a device to check compatibility. I don't own an LG device I am trying to make a decision before purchasing one! WHY ON EARTH WOULD THIS NEED TO BE THIS COMPLEX?

- Answer no and from other comments of people who talked to SONY this will never happen. only NETFLIX, PRIME and YOUTUBE are your choices. I am very FRUSTRATED and about to return unit today.

QuestionCan this unit be hooked up to a non-4K TV? I have an older plasma display 1080p and simply want to use it for standard blu-ray playback. Hooked it up with existing HDMI cable working with older standard blu-ray player, but I'm not getting any display.
