I wash mine in there and it gets it clean! Just takes a couple rounds in the dryer...even after that I sometimes have to let it air dry the rest of the way.

Please try again later.The owner's manual does have a caution not to wash or spin waterproof items, such as rain coats, sleeping bags, etc. in the ENERGY STAR® Qualified LG 5.0 cu.ft. MEGA Capacity TurboWash™ Washer with Steam, Model # WT5680HWA and also cautions that if possible, not to wash any water-resistant items, but that if you must, you should use the Bulky/Bedding cycle. These type of garments cause the loads to becoming unbalanced leading to excessive shaking and vibrations that could damage the unit or you property or cause personal injury..^IFV
