“Should there be a styrofoam ring left on the bottom of the washer?? the delivery guys lifted the washer off of the styrofoam base before bringing the washer in the house. after they left, i felt under the washer just to make sure there was no leaking and i felt a circular strip of what appears to be styrofoam surrounding something! the delivery manager came to look at it and determined that the ring of styrofoam is there to minimize vibration. this has been weird to me. has anyone else experienced this type scenario??”

• As instructed in the owner's manual for the ENERGY STAR® Qualified LG 5.0 Cu. Ft. 14-Cycle High-Efficiency Steam Top-Loading Washer in Graphite Steel, Model # WT5680HVA, after thge washer is lifted off the foam base, you need to make sure that the plastic tub support comes off with the base and is not stuck to the bottom of the washer. Anything else should not be removed...^IFV
