“How does the pedestal washer bin work and what is it best use for it? Also, can it be independently used for a small load?”

• The pedestal washer is exactly what its name says, it's a small washer installed in the pedestal. Wish i opted to buy it, the price is the only reason why i didn’t buy it. It's not recommended to wash single garment in the large drum, you need to add a few in order not to throw the drum out of balance, that's where the pedestal washer comes in handy.
