A:AnswerThere are many questions to be asked: how long you have the washer; is this a newer issue, or ongoing since you got the washer. How do you know the water is back flowing, instead of overflowing due to a blockage in the pipe.
I would suggest to have a plumber check the installation/circuit of the water, that include proper water connection and drainage.
On the other hand, if the machine is new, it might have a manufacturing defect that might be covered by warranty.
I just purchased a new LG and had to exchange it because was not draining the dirty water after washing. The exchanged machine was using hot water instead of cold. That was an easy fix - had to invert the cold/hot water hose that was improperly connected at delivery. Hope I could help.

A:AnswerThe ENERGY STAR® Qualified LG 5.0 Cu. Ft. 8-Cycle Smart Wi-Fi Enabled Top Load Washer with TurboWash3D™ Technology, Model # WT7300CW does not have a Bright Whites cycle so the best cycle to use is the Normal cycle. Your whites should be washed separately. The best way to retain whiteness is to launder white items together in the hottest water the fabric will tolerate (water that is at least 120 degrees is most effective at removing soil), so check the garment labels labels on your clothes for the proper wash temperature to set & group them into items with the same recommended wash temperature. There are detergents that are especially designed for whites like OxiClean. There are 19 downloadable cycles available for download, Small Load, Color Care. Beachwear, New Clothes, Denim, Swimwear, Rainy Day, Blanket, Sweat Stains, Single Graments, Baby Clothes, Children's Sportswear, Collars & Cuffs, Juice and food stains, Overnight wash, Econowash, Delicate Dresses, Half Load Wash, and Full Load Wash. LG can add more download cycles without notice...^IFV

A:AnswerIf you start the normal cycle, then pause it right away, you can hit cold wash or even change the temp and other settings. Not sure if it's the same for other settings or why you can’t change it before starting like you can with bedding, but at least it's an option!
