Yes, the soundbar will play Dolby Atmos when connected to the TV through HDMI/ARC. ^CP
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.https://www.nakamichi-usa.com/best-dolby-atmos See above link, best explanation I can find on the net. Not all HDMI are created equal. And HDMI-ARC actually robs you of higher resolution audio due to it's bandwidth limitations. Likewise LG's Bluetooth "cable free" Sound Sync....all those are bad if you want to enjoy Dolby Atmos. Just use the regular HDMI channel (if you don't have eARC). Sorry I had to a "Brand name site" info but it's just because they provide the best info in very clear pictorial explanations. (perhaps the manufacturers of such TVs and Soundbars should learn a thing or two from them!)
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, if the source provides Dolby Atmos, which is in its early market adoption by TV and content providers,e.g. Amazon Prime TV, Apple, Hulu etc.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.should be on HDMI ARC and movies should also be Dolby Atmos! if the movie your watching is just 5.1 or 7.1, you will not experience true True Dolby Atmos!
