QuestionI have the same issue as many other described over here and LG website. The sound of the voices is NOT laud enough during the surround sound action scenes. I chated with LG & they could not help. Could you please advise if someone has found a solution?

- Answer The soundbar is FIXED, firmware updated, so you now have control of the CENTER speaker! Vocals/Dialogue no longer an issue

Questionwhat does overhead volume control on the settings mean.

- Answer Overhead volume is corresponding to the up firing speakers on top of the sound bar. This is what is intended to give you some of the Atmos experience by bouncing the sound of the ceiling of the room you are in to simulate overhead speakers.

- Answer No just one small update and you don’t need Wi-Fi.. contects Bluetooth thru phone but Wi-Fi not needed

QuestionI just purchased the 55 inch OLED C8. Will my soundbar be in the way of the screen? I really don't want to mount it, it'd have to be on same stand, with bar in front of tv. Thank u . Also, if it blocks, can I prop up the TV base/ stand??

- Answer I have mine in front and it is fine. The TV is just barely above the soundbar, but I do have to lift the remote a little higher to turn the TV on. Once on everything is normal.

QuestionPurchases the new Sk10y hoping a firmware update will address the only issue I have w the soundbar: vocals/voice in movies, network TV, Netflix etc are too LOW, drowned out by the big submersive surround sound which is phenomenal. Need center speaker UP

QuestionI'm trying to find out if this lg sk10y has hdmi pass thru when off or in standby mode ,I have my roku ultra connected to the hdmi 1 input and the arc out going to my tv arc connection,works great but when turn off bar lose pic and sound

QuestionI have recently bought Lg sl10yg. We connected the bar through optical cable. We have Live tv box for indian channel,whenever we are watching something on live tv box it double up the voice, one from the bar and one from tv not sure why?

- Answer Use HDMI ARC instead of optical. Also check sound settings on TV. Some TV’s will save previous setting for different inputs.

QuestionMy sk10y soundbar is dropping connection randomly to the sub. I plugged in an Ethernet, and it's still happening. Sub is line of sight, 10 feet to the left of the bar. Anyone have any solutions?

- Answer I've had similar issues with intermittent disconnects. Apparently that's a problem with these. Try moving the sub really really close to the bar and see if that helps.

- Answer You do not have to have an LG TV to use the LG 5.1.2-Channel Hi-Res Audio Sound Bar with Wireless Subwoofer and Dolby Atmos Technology, Model # SK10Y with a TV. If your TV supports Bluetooth, you can pair it with the TV to stream audio signals wirelessly from the TV. Check with your TV's manufacturer if it can be paired with any Soundbar or if it can only be paired with Soundbars that your TVs' manufacturer has tested for compatibility. The Soundbar has an Optical Digital Audio Input that can be connected to the Optical Digital Audio Output of any TV regardless of brand or manufacturer that features that port and it can also be connected via its HDMI Out which supports HDMI ARC functionality when that port is connected to an HDMI port that also supports HDMI ARC functionality on a TV regardless or brand or manufacturer. ^CP

QuestionI do not have Dolby Atmos sources. Will this work with standard Dolby 5.1 from an HDMI connector? Does it have an on screen display so you can set sub, front, left/right, center levels or are they fixed?

Questioneverything has worked smoothly up until this morning. I get home from work and now there is a blinking red light whenever I press any button on the remote and a blinking white light when the display dims. Everything sounds great but no idea why the light

- Answer You can go with a rocket fish wall mount and they have an attachment that you can also buy that might work as well

- Answer Update. Kudos to the wife for doing this. She asks Alexa to connect to Bluetooth and even though the sound bar is turned off after the command it takes a few seconds and the sound bar tornados on and is paired with the echo. I was asking Alexa to pair to LG sound bar to an avail. Volume the controlled via echo.

QuestionPurchased a LG SK10 Y to connect to a Sony 65X900F TV. The salesman said they are compatible. I connected and can't receive audio through HDMI Arc 3, ONLY the optic cable. I set the TV settings to audio systems setting and still the same. Any suggestions
