Hello there. Thank you for your question about the LG S75QR soundbar system. We understand you’re considering unconventional placements for the rear speakers and base unit. For the base unit (subwoofer), placing it in a crawl space above the living room might affect its performance. Subwoofers are designed to work optimally when positioned in a location where sound waves can effectively spread throughout the room. Placing it in a crawl space could lead to: Reduced Sound Quality: The sound may be muffled or less impactful if the base unit is in a confined or obstructed space. Connectivity Issues: Ensure that the subwoofer has a clear connection to the soundbar and that any wireless signals are not obstructed. If possible, test the setup before finalizing it. Ideally, the subwoofer should be placed in an open area on the floor where it can produce the best sound quality. If you decide to proceed with this setup, ensure that the subwoofer has adequate ventilation and that there are no obstructions affecting its performance. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you are running 5g wifi the further away from the sound bar you place the rear speaker receiver the greater chance the 5g will interrupt the Bluetooth. With mine the receiver is under the sound bar and I used longer wiring.
