It has a feature you can sync with your smartphone to select a cycle, monitor it, and turn it on/off from your phone!

It does allow LG to collect all sorts of data on how much, when and how you use your washer. Using that data they can infer a lot of things about you like household size, clothes type and the like. Then they can warehouse that data, and figure out how to use it to make more money.

Please try again later.The WIFI is a very convenience feature , i,.e. you put your cloths inside the washer when you go to work, before you leave your workplace , you can turn on your washer with your cellphone APP, by the time you get back home, your clean cloth are waiting for you without worry about the moisture smell and conserved energy during peak hour too !
