QuestionI do not think high-efficiency washers use sufficient water to remove detergent from clothes, even using an additional rinse cycle. Can I download a program to the WM9000 to use more water in a rinse cycle than it was programmed for?

QuestionCan you choose which way the door swings open for both the washer and the dryer? The rocket scientists that built my house put the washer drain on the right-hand side, yet all washer/dryers seem to default to the doors opening in the other direction.

QuestionThe bestbuy installer said that this washer could not be placed on a pan that is 29.5" wide. My builder installed this pan: http://www.driptite.com/single_washer_pan_washer_stackable_pan.htm What size pan have others used for this unit? Thanks

- Answer These units are very large. You can see the dimensions under the specs tab on the website. I think you want to have a 1in space around the entire washing machine. So you are looking at a pan that is over 31in.

QuestionI have a 20 lb weighted blanket that says it is machine washable. The total weight of the blanket is 20 pounds. Is it safe to wash it in the machine? (not, will the machine hurt the blanket but will the blanket hurt the machine.)
