“To keep ice cream solid in the freezer area then the frig area is also below freezing. There is very little difference between the two areas -- 10 degrees. How do I keep frozen things frozen and not freeze the frig area.”

• Hey there. Only set the temperature control between COLDEST and OVER FREEZING if you want to quick freeze foods. When quick freezing is nished, set the control back to the COLDER position.Leaving the control set between COLDEST and OVER FREEZING for a long time can freeze items in the fresh food compartment. ~Anthony

• LG seems to indicate that the freezer is more of a temporary use rather than trying to use as a full time freezer
