“Do the burner dials/knobs have a locking feature? I'm concerned with accidental ignition if knobs are bumped by walking past or reaching to the back panel, or messed with by a toddler.”

• Yes they knobs lock when you activate the lock feature. I just double checked that feature for you. It’s a great freestanding range. I love it.

• This is not a lock feature for the knobs. The Lockout feature automatically locks the oven door and prevents most oven controls from being turned on. It does not disable the timer and the interior oven light. ^Daphane

• There is a lockout on the control panel on the back, which is weird because kids probably won't play with that but the knobs will turn and the stovetop will function even if the lockout on the oven is engaged. I tested it to see if it prevented the stovetop from working and it worked fine with the lockout on. The knobs are big, easy to turn and within the reach of a small child.
