A:Answer So, unfortunately, I purchased the 49"UH6100 just this past Sunday before I even saw the 50" and when I spoke with two best buy reps online, they were not able to tell me what the differences were except that there is no warranty for the 50" but there is a 1 yr warranty with the 49" (but that doesn't matter if you purchase the geek squad protection).
While I was receiving unhelpful answers from the online reps, I noticed in the specs of both tv's that the 50" Refresh Rate is at 60Hz while the 49" claims its at 120Hz. If you look at the "Product Features", it also mentions that the 49" has True Motion 120 (the 120Hz I was talking about) and Advanced TV Sound, while the 50" doesnt have that mentioned. I even tried looking up if 60hz vs 120hz made a huge difference, but couldn't really find an answer.
So.... those were the differences I could find and now I am not sure if I should just return the 49" to save some money for a potentially slightly blurry tv.
