Even though the LG UK6090PUA 4K HDR Smart LED UHD TV - 50" Class (49.5" Diag), Model # 50UK6090PUA has a power rating of 100~240Vac 50-60Hz and you can find an adapter to fit the plug into the sockets in India since India uses different sockets from those used in the U.S., the issue is with the built-in tuners in the TV. Parts of India still use the PAL system for television broadcasts and this TV does not have a built-in PAL tuner. It has an ATSC tuner for digital terrestrial broadcasts, an NTSC tuner for analog television broadcasts and a QAM tuner for cable service. None of these tuners are compatible with the television broadcast systems used in India...^IFV
