Then you would have to manually set it. Also there are settings in the playstation 3 and playstation 4 that have full HD video ps3, and 4K upscaling (ps 4 or ps4 pro) . you would access the settings on either one of those consoles and go to video settings and adjust the settings , for video , this would give you access to set the video quality and you'll get a better picture.. Always remember there are certain types of video display when you set how you want your picture quality on the console.. If your TV does not contain HDR then you would take off the RGB video turn it off, this will brighten the picture of what u r watching.. or simple set it to auto matic... you should get a better picture after that..
