- Answer I HAVE THE SAME SITUATION WITH THE SOUND BEING EITHER TO LOUD OR TO LOW. I TRIED FINDING THE AUTO VOLUME AREA UNDER MY MENU BUT WAS UNABLE, CAN SOMEONE EXPLAIN WHERE TO FIND THIS AREA.

QuestionDoes this new 2020 model in the 50" size (50UN7300PUF) have an IPS or VA panel? The 2019 50" model (50UM7300PUA) had a VA panel and the 49" model (49UM7300PUA) had an IPS panel. Wondering if LG is doing the same again in 2020 with the 50" 7300 series

QuestionFollow up on the VA Panel question, is the 50" 7300 the only model that is VA or are there any others? Also, what new features make the 2020 7300 worth the extra money then the 2019, and does the 2020 version maintain the input lag speed?

- Answer The 50UM7300PUA is not the only VA panel that we had in our 2019 TV lineup. the 82UM8070PUA, 70UM7370AUB, 70UM7370PUA, 50UM7300AUE, 70UM7170DUA, 60UM7100DUA, 70UM6970PUA, 60UM6950DUB, 60UM6900PUA, 60UM6900PUA, 50UM6900PUA, were also VA panels. FilmMaker mode is a new feature for the 2020 models and the webOS smart TV platform will be getting a number of tweaks that will make getting to content quicker and easier like Sports Alert that lets you track when your favorite team is playing, get live updates from their games and lets you jump to that game whenever it comes on if it’s available. However, the difference in pricing is due to the different pricing structure for 2020 models which is not the same as that for 2019 models. Input Lag is not an official TV specification so it is not listed in the TV's specifications. It is something that is tested by online reviewers & then posted on their sites. There are different methods for testing for Input Lag so the results will vary depending on which Input Lag Test Method is used. online reviewers will often identify which method they use to test for the input lag...^IFV

QuestionI have a 48" (7 yr, no pict) LG that I am trying to replace. That one has a pedestal mount that fits well on a (multi unit) TV table 26" wide by 19." That table will not accommodate your 36" leg mounts. Is there an accessory pedestal type mount?

- Answer We had the same problem -- the older TV's all had a center pedestal and they fit on our TV stands. Last December Best Buy carried a "universal stand" that was meant for making the TV taller...but you can "mount" the TV on it and the base fits on our older (narrower) TV table (no LG feet needed). If you find a knowledgeable or creative person at Best Buy, they probably will know about it. Good luck!

The specifications for the LG Electronics - 50" - 7 Series - 4K UHD TV - Smart - LED - with HDR, Model # 50UN7300PUF List its W x H x D dimensions as 44.5" x 26.1" x 3.4" without the stand and as 44.5" x 28.3" x 9.3" with the stand. We could not find anywhere on the page that lists 541" for any dimension for the TV...^IFV

- Answer All the HDMI ports on the LG 50 inch Class 4K Smart UHD TV with AI ThinQ® (49.5'' Diag), Model # 50UN7300PUF are HDMI 2.0 ports, they all support Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM) which automatically selects the setting for less lag and allows your console to set your TV's low-latency mode automatically without having to set it on your TV. The ports all support HDR Gaming Interest Group (HGiG) and they are all HDCP 2.2 compliant. HDMI 2 is an HDMI ARC port. In Game Mode, the TV has an outstanding low input lag. Input Lag for 1080p @ 60 Hz is 9.9 ms, 9.6 ms for 1440p @ 60 Hz, 9.7 ms for 4k @ 60 Hz, 9.7 ms for 4k @ 60 Hz + 10 bit HDR, 9.7 ms for 4k @ 60 Hz @ 4:4:4. As mentioned earlier, 'Automatic Low Latency Mode' switches you to 'Game' mode when the TV detects a game being launched from a compatible device, such as an Xbox One or a PC...^IFV

- Answer Your decision on whether to use a Soundbar or not with the LG 50 inch Class 4K Smart UHD TV with AI ThinQ® (49.5'' Diag), Model # 50UN7300PUF will really depend on various factors. The first will be on your auditory acuity. The second will be on the room size, and the third will be on the distance that you will be from the TV, and the fourth will be on how much furniture you have in the room or if you have carpeted floors or bare floors. The TV features a 2.0 Channel 20W Speaker System. If you have a small to a mid-size room and you are sitting in close proximity to the TV, chances are you may not need a Soundbar. If the room is heavily furnished or the floors are carpeted and you have heavy drapes, those will absorb the sound so it may not sound as loud. Bare floors on the other hand may sound louder but may also give you a cavernous sound. Try the TV without a Soundbar first to determine how it sounds without one and decide if you need to add a Soundbar. You can always add one later if needed...^IFV
