• A:Answer The Time Scheduler feature on the LG 50" UR340C Series LED 4K UHD Digital Signage TV, Model # 50UR340C9UD, allows you to set opening / closing hours and holidays, so the TV will turn on / off according to a work schedule. You can set the TV to turn On/Off automatically for a set period, but not to power on again automatically...^Ivan.

Q: QuestionHi, What type of serial RS232 port connectors are on the back/side of this TV? Can you provide a clear picture of the available ports for the 50UR340C9UD? I tried looking at online manuals, but they are not clear on this. Photos of the back?

• A:Answer Our LG UHD Digital Signage TVs are from our Commercial division and specifications, features and manuals for them and the 50” UR340C Series UHD Commercial TV with management software, scheduler and certified Crestron Connected®, Model # 50UR340C9UD can be found on our Commercial/Business site at https://www.lg.com/us/business. The specifications on the product detail page for Model # 50UR340C9UD which can be found at https://solutions.lg.com/us/digital-signage/lg-50ur340c9ud list an RS-232C 3.5 mm 4-pole port on the side and an RS-232C D-sub 9-pin in the rear for this model. There aren't any images showing the back of the unit. Pages 5 and 6 in the manual have illustrated diagrams showing the input ports on the side and the back of the unit and page 25 in the manual and page 72 in the installation manual show the two types of RS-232C inputs...^Ivan

Q: QuestionThe TV states it’s compatible with SuperSign Control software how do you connect the TV itself to the program? And is there a way to find the IP that belongs to the TV to be able to have it talk back to the software?

To connect the TV to the SuperSign Control software, follow these steps: Network Connection: Ensure your TV is connected to the same network as the computer running the SuperSign Control software. You can connect the TV via Ethernet or Wi-Fi. Locate the IP Address: To find the IP address of your TV: Press the Settings button on your remote. Navigate to All Settings > Network > Network Status. The TV's IP address will be displayed on this screen. Configure SuperSign Control: Open the SuperSign Control software on your computer. Add the TV by entering the IP address you retrieved. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the setup.
