The SEER rating is the average over a cooling season, and is calculated using a constant indoor temperature and varying outdoor temperatures ranging from the 60’s to over 100 degrees. The rating used for the LG 14,000 BTU Cooling Portable Air Conditioner Cooling, Model # LP1415WXRSM is the EER which is a more constant engineering number used for measuring an air conditioner’s efficiency and is given as 10.1 for this unit. Q: QuestionShould my 14000 BTU when on heat fills up with water?my 14000 BTU roll a long has air & heater. The heater fills up with water & pumps it thru the hose to the outside. Is it suppose to due this with the heater on?

Q: QuestionInstallation for Jalousie Window + Insect NetI have 3 sets of 5-panel window jalousie, with 3 sets of insect net. I'm wondering if the vent can be installed for this type of window? Also, I live in a very high humidity area (at least 80% humidity level), would the product work as it should? Also, if the vent can be installed, would the vent be able to point downwards as to not collect rain water? Thanks!

• A:Answer The Window Installation Kit that comes supplied with the LG - 14,000 BTU SMART Wi-Fi Controllable Portable Air Conditioner, Model # LP1415WXRSM is designed for most Vertical-Sliding Windows or most Casement-Style Windows and the instructions for installing this unit is only for its' installation is such windows. You can run this unit in high humidity and to alleviate the need to be constantly emptying the internal water collection tank, you can remove the drain cap and exhaust from the back of the unit and insert a drain hose that has an inner diameter of 11/16" (18 mm) into the drain port and place the open end of the drain hose in a suitable drain location or outside. You may still need to empty the water tank since you're in a very high humid environment...^IFV
