You can run this unit in high humidity and to alleviate the need to be constantly emptying the internal water collection tank, you can remove the drain cap and exhaust from the back of the unit and insert a drain hose that has an inner diameter of 11/16" (18 mm) into the drain port and place the open end of the drain hose in a suitable drain location or outside.
